St. Michael's is a warm and friendly congregation growing four generations strong, here in the heart of Issaquah. We celebrate our faith in significant and fun-loving ways, always aiming to bring that faith to life in our own lives and the world all around us. Thanks for visiting us today - we look forward to getting to know you!
At 8:00 we celebrate a traditional (“Rite One”) spoken Eucharist, phrased in inspired Elizabethan prose. Our prayers resonate with those of forebears across the English Church throughout the centuries, acknowledging humanity's sinfulness and God's graciousness. A sermon brings the truths of each Sunday’s scripture home to our daily lives, and coffee and conversation follow.
During summer months at 10:00, families and visitors mingle in casual clothing for “Solstice Sundays.” A map studded with pushpins marks parishioner whereabouts on summer journeys, and prayers bid them safe travel. Little ones enjoy kid-friendly activities during the sermon, and everyone joins in the upbeat hymns and sacred essentials of worship, before heading out to savor God’s creation.
Service Times: 8:00 and 10:00
