MANY MINISTRIESThe people of St. Michael’s serve God in many different ways. We live our daily lives at home, at school and at work, aware that our individual actions either make the world into more, or less, of the place God intends for it to be. As we gather for worship and companionship each Sunday—and often during the week as well—core convictions and values grow stronger, energizing us to serve. Most of us take an active role in making St. Michael’s a vibrant place that recharges souls. Some prepare and help lead worship. Some offer welcoming and hospitality. Some teach and tend our little ones. Some pray daily for those in need. Some develop oases for spiritual growth. Some carefully manage the funds that sustain us. Some maintain the premises and property that serve as our home base. Some help us move into the future in directions God is calling us. Some provide ways to keep in touch, including this web site you are visiting. Last but not least, some provide hands-on opportunities for serving the community in Christ’s name. |
