Nursery

The bright and airy new nursery opens at 10:00 am as Sunday School starts. Once infants and toddlers are settled in, parents move to the adjoining Gathering Room for Starbucks and conversation until the 10:30 Eucharist. Little ones are welcome to stay and play until the service is over, or to be brought into the church by their parents for Communion.

The nursery walls are covered with a garden of brightly hued murals; large windows let in lots of light, and special one-way panes on the hallway side allow parents to peek in on their little ones. The activity is centered at ground level with a wide variety of safe and scrubbed toys for infants and toddlers. Sturdy area rugs in roadway themes are perfect for active imaginations. Meanwhile a cozy rocker awaits in a quiet spot, for whenever a little one needs cuddle time. Friendly, attentive care is provided by the teens of the parish, who are certified in CPR and supervised by an experienced mom.

For the peace of mind of parents, the backgrounds of all caregivers, no matter how loved and trusted they are in the parish, are screened prior to working with our children.
