2012 FORWARD VISIONING

With move-in complete, the vestry has resumed leading the parish in forward visioning. Sunday morning focus groups throughout the spring revisit and update Vision initiatives in five vital areas:

• April 22 Living Liturgies
• April 29 Re-charging to Serve
• May 6 Family Connections
• May 20 Caring Climate
• June 3 Visionary Leadership

As outcomes of these conversations are correlated with a broad all-parish survey, the wardens are weaving them into a fresh expression of ways that St. Michael’s will Bring Faith to life in the heart of Issaquah in coming years.

MUSI-QUAH AFTER-SCHOOL MUSIC LAUNCHES IN SEPTEMBER

3rd through 5th graders gather after school on Thursday afternoons, 4:00-5:30 pm, for this innovative interfaith musical experience. The kid-safe, peer learning environment offers wholesome and affordable after-school activity, while nurturing personal growth in gratitude, creativity and commitment.
